It is to be noted that Meenakshi Mission Hospital was the first healthcare institution in India to deploy self-driving Teladoc robots two years ago to enable doctors to provide virtual care to patients when the Covid-19 pandemic was raging. Since its deployment, over 60,000 in-patients and outpatients have been treated with these robots.
