Meenakshi Mission Hospital organizes CME on Pediatric Critical Care Madurai, 1st August 2022: The Department of Pediatrics & Neonatology of Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre (MMHRC) had organized a one-day Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on Pediatric Critical Care in Madurai. Around 100 pediatricians from South Tamil Nadu participated in the CME program.
The main objective of the CME program was to discuss on the approach to a child altered mental status and current trends of fluid therapy in hospitalized children. Dr. S. Thangavelu – Director of Pediatrics, Mehta Multispecialty Hospitals, Chennai and Dr. Sasidaran Kandasamy, Head – Advanced Pediatric Critical Care, Mehta Multispecialty Hospitals, Chennai were the speakers of the CME program.
This event was graced by the presence of Dr. B. Kannan, Medical Administrator, MMHRC, Dr. A Kannan, HOD – Department of Pediatrics, MMHRC, Dr.Senthilkumar Paediatric Intensivist Organised the CME, Dr. M.S. Raja Rajeswaran, President, IAP Madurai Branch and Dr.S. Balasankar, Director, ICH & RC, Govt. Rajaji Hospital, Madurai were also present.
