The Department of General Medicine at MMHRC handles numerous cases each day. This includes patients referred to with conditions difficult to diagnose or ailments that are found to be treatment-resistant. The department diagnoses multisystem ailments and provides holistic treatment to patients across all age groups. This includes cases like asthma, allergy, connective tissue disorders and rheumatic disease, respiratory diseases, COPD, bronchitis, tuberculosis, tropical infectious rare diseases like melioidosis, hematology related ailments, geriatric care and many more. After the beginning of covid pandemic we have successfully treated more than thousands of covid cases.

Our PG training program is widely sought after for its depth of practical training. The program is recognized by the Diplomate National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, General Medicine and Family Medicine. The course duration is 3 years and post graduates also have rotations in superspeciality departments such as nephrology, cardiology, neurology, pulmonology.
