Meenakshi Mission Hospital organizes awareness event to mark World Kidney Day 2023 – MMHRC

World Kidney Day is observed every year on the second Thursday of March.The theme for World Kidney Day 2023 is “Kidney Health for All – Preparing for the unexpected, supporting the vulnerable.” The experts at MMMRC emphasized the need for lifestyle changes to maintain healthy kidneys, that included exercise, weight management, abstinence from alcohol, drugs taken for self-medication, and a low-fat diet, which are the main causes of kidney disease. Meenakshi Mission Hospital recently launched “The Meenakshi kidney fund”, which is intended for those with financial difficulties who need dialysis and advanced treatment for renal disorders
