The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh has bestowed the recognition to MMHRC to train doctors seeking to appear for the AFRCS Examinations.
- MMHRC holds the distinction for being recognized by the Madurai Kamaraj University and MGR Medical University for Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr.Ramesh Ardhanari, our Medical Director.
- The Medical Council of India has recognized MMHRC for Compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship (C.R.R.I) and senior house surgeoncy for medical graduates.

Library
The well-stocked Library at MMHRC serves all user groups at the hospital, to update their knowledge and skills. It is the only referral academic library at the hospital and serves as a centre for primary information resources. Health professionals can access up-to-date, high quality and reliable medical information. New titles are added regularly.
It offers a wide range of relevant information, literature, documents and records apart from audio cassettes, CDs, print and e-journals for information, research and reference. This rich repository of information offers books on medicine, management, hospital administration and even Siddha medicine. International and national journals are available for keeping abreast with world trends in medicine and health care
Timings
- The library is open from 9am to 9pm on all working days.
- It is open from 10am to 1pm on Sundays & Holidays.
- Our library has access to a Digital Library which ensures easy access to relevant information, including resources, which include books, journals, websites and research papers to suit the local medical conditions and environment.
