SOUTH TAMIL NADU'S FIRST ROBOTIC SURGICAL SYSTEM AT MEENAKSHI MISSION HOSPITAL.
Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre procured the Davinci SI Surgical Robot in 2019. It has 3 Robotic Arms, which can be controlled by the surgeon. Vision is provided by a 3D High Definition camera system. Various instruments and energy devices are available to use with the Robotic Arms. The Davinci Surgical Robot finds use in various fields, like, Surgical Gastroenterology, Urology, Gynaecology and Surgical Oncology.
